Hé oui! En ce vendredi 13, bien j`avais le goût d`aller chez le coiffeur.... mais vu que mes moyens financiers ne sont pas égaux à mes espérances... bien j`endure!!! Fa que blablabla avec ma collègue de travail... et en septembre dernier je lui avais donné des billets du cirque du soleil parce que je ne pouvais pas y aller (bon j avais eu les billets gratos).... fa que, elle me dit, t`sais ma fille est coiffeuse... (tiens, tiens!) et tout de go me dit, vu que tu nous as donnés les billets, bien elle va te coiffer GRATUITEMENT!!!!!! YES!!!!!

Ce soir, j`écoute du Indochine... l`album Hanoi... j`aime!

J`aime les paroles, le rythme... la voix de Nicola Sirkis. Ils sont venus dernièrement dans la ville de Quebec... même si c`est juste à 1h15 de chez moi, je n`ai pas assister au spectacle... et je le regrette... zut.

Indochine est un groupe que j`aime depuis une vingtaine d`année. J`ai la plupart de leur albums. J`aime leur musique. Allez les découvrir sur leur site...

This Sunday morning, I found this among my flowers... I`m always amazed by the beauty of flowers....I`m sitting on my patio, under the sun with my laptop and in a few minutes, i`ll jump in my pool... this is the kind of morning i enjoy the most!!!! Have a great day!!! :)

Tourlou!!! Hier soir, je suis sortie avec mes amis en ville. Nous sommes allés voir le spectacle Showtime!!! Pas mal interessant!!! Une belle revue musicale!!! Depuis à peu près 7 ans que ce spectacle continue et c`était la première fois que j`y assistais....

C`est la St-Jean

Aujourd`hui et demain, la majorité des Québecois ainsi que les francophones hors-Québec vont célébrer la St-Jean! Alors le bleu et les fleur de lys seront à l`honneur un peu partout!!!

Ce qui est super c`est que le mercure affichera pas loin de 35 degres avec humidex!!! Le soleil est au rendez-vous!!! Et moi, bien je saute dans la piscine!!!! Yes!!!

My birthday gift from moi to MOI!!!

Yes!!! I treated myself to a new car this week!!! Bye bye Pontiac Sunfire, Hello Rondo from Kia :)

This is my new baby!!! :) What`s exciting about it is that the car dealer lended me one for 2 days to drive around to see if I like it!!!! So, on my birthday last week, I drove to work in a Rondo.

I have the cruise control, blue tooth and mp3 aux. , heated seat, 7 seats, air conditionning, and more.... While negociating, I also asked for the dark window treatement , 4 winter tires on rims, anti-rust for life, 3 oil changes.....and I got them all !!!!( because it was my birthday and the end of the month... ) The only thing i didn t get was the sun roof... oh well!!!!

a haircut and apple cider....

Yesterday i got a hair cut! First time i had my hair cut by a man! they are the best! Since I was 14, i had my hair cut from the same person at the same salon.... Even when I lived elsewhere, I returned to her. Last September, she cut my hair so bad, she didn t even care to apologize... and she even charged me more.... ouatte de phoque????

So, i let my hair grew , grew and grew until I was fed up ! So yesterday I went to HIM!!!! He`s probably gonna be my new hair dresser for the future!!!! Thank you!!!!

With my new career comes regular paycheck!!! thank you!!!! I figure that by next June, my debt should be gone!!! Yahoo!!! So, yesterday, i went shopping: 2 bras (smaller size but high quality), 3 dress-shirt and one very slimming dress!!!! Yes!!! all that under 250$ (hair cut included!) Thanks to It`s all Maya, for the Sears clearance sales.... YES!!!! Best of it, I went to Sears and got an extra 5$ off for just watching a 10 minutes fashion show! :) Plus 20% off because it was Saturday!

I went out with new friends, resto, bowling, arcade and a fine bistro where I drank fine Apple cider!!!! Came back home at 3 am.... ouf!!! in 25 days, i`ll came closer to be 40.... well 4 more years to go.... I look younger now than I did when I was 25.... 10 years ago.... go figure!!!! but I like it!

LA CABANE À SUCRE!!!!

Yesterday was our traditional day to go to La Cabane à sucre!!! So we went to Ste-Gertrude to L`Érablière Deshaies... A nice family owned cabane with original recipes made from maple.... miam!!!! I`m sure I gained 5 lbs yesterday alone.... ;)

I discovered this Érablière last year, so we decided to go to the same place this year!!! soooooo good!!!!!!!

St-Patrick

Happy St-Patrick`s Day to everyone!!! When I lived in Saskatchewan and in Ottawa, St-Pat`s was very popular... Everyone was wearing green, clover leaf or drinking green beer !? ;) Lots of celebrations, kids at school were decorating our classroom in green! It was a fun time!!!

In my hometown, St-Pat`s isn`t very popular, probably because our background is mostly French Catholic.. oh well!... Thanks to some good people we now have an Irish pub downtown!!! YES!!!!! Today, at work, i`m going to wear something green, and will probably think about my Irish friends in Sask. and Ottawa who are probably having more green beer than I am !!!

A beautiful day!

Today, my son & I went to our neighborhood Winter Carnaval! The weather was nice! Sunny, blue sky, no clouds, no wind and fairly warm -2 celcius!
What I enjoy with theses Carnavals in my hometown is that everything is FREE! Sleigh rides, poney rides, go-carts on snow, skating, dogs "sleigh-ride"(traineau à chiens), etc...

Every week-end there`s a winter carnaval in different neighborhoods of my hometown. We try to attend most of them :) We spend a day outside , it`s not expensive, my son enjoys it very much! We participate ! We move!!! We enjoy "winter"!!! (I prefer summer...)

So, now you know how I spent my day!!! With my son!!! We had a great time!!!

BTW: my mind is almost made up... i`ll probably accept job #2 (Répartitrice aux télécommunications, SQ) Yep.... Watch my words: The right man for me will be working at job #2, i have a feeling about this!!! Can`t wait to greet him into my life ;) in the meantime, tomorrow i`ll go buy myself some Laura Secord at 50% off ;)
